These are the questions plumbing owners ask us before they sign, answered plainly. The full list sits above, and the sections below add context on the four topics that come up most: cost, commitment, ownership and proof. If you want the detail behind any service, start at the services hub.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Plumbing.Agency cost?
Growth is $1,999 a month, Elite $3,999 and Enterprise $7,999, or $1,499, $2,999 and $5,999 a month billed annually. Tax is added based on your province (GST and QST in Quebec). Ad spend is separate.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Every plan runs month to month, and 30 days' notice ends it. If you'd like the lower monthly rate, annual billing is an option.
We tried an agency before and got nothing. Why would this be different?
Ask what the last agency measured. If it was clicks or rankings, nobody tracked booked jobs. We agree a cost-per-booked-job target first, set up call tracking in your name, and report against it monthly, so you can see whether it's working within the first couple of months.
Who owns the website, Google profile and ad accounts?
You do. Everything is set up in your company's name with us added as managers. If you leave, you keep the domain, website, profile, ad accounts and call history.
How long before we see more calls?
Paid search and profile fixes can bring calls within weeks. Local SEO and content usually take three to six months to build steady results. We show both in the monthly report so you can see the short and long game.
Can you get us into Local Services Ads?
We start with an eligibility check for your categories and area. If you qualify, we help prepare the profile and documents; you complete Google's verification. We never promise availability or a badge.
Can you promise rankings or leads?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Search engines and platforms decide rankings. We commit to the work, the tracking and honest reporting, and you can leave with 30 days' notice if it isn't paying off.
Are you plumbers?
No. We're a marketing and business consulting service for plumbing companies. We don't install, repair or service anything, and we don't give code or permit advice.
Do you have plumbing case studies?
Not yet. Our published proof is results from our HVAC work, each named and linked. We'll add plumbing results only when clients give written permission.
What reports will we get?
A monthly report and review call covering calls by channel, booked jobs, cost per booked job, reviews and what we're changing next. Any other reporting cadence is set out in your proposal.
Do you work with companies outside BC?
Yes, in every province and territory. We meet online by video call or in person, and by phone, text and email.
Will you work with my competitor down the road?
Ask us before you sign. Any exclusivity is agreed in writing in your proposal; we don't assume it either way.
Can you help with hiring or pricing?
Our focus is marketing. For owner-level work on pricing, hiring and systems, our sister practice plumber.consulting is the better fit.
Cost and value
The short answer: plans run from $1,999 to $7,999 a month, and the plan is only half the budget. The other half is ad spend, which goes straight to the platforms from your own account. The pricing page has all three plans, the annual rates and tax by province.
Value is easier to judge than price. If your average booked job is worth $450 in gross profit and the plan helps you book 25 extra jobs a month, the maths is obvious. If it doesn't, you'll see that in the reports, and you can leave.
Commitment and terms
Plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel. Our view is that a plumbing company should stay because its booked jobs justify it, not because paperwork traps it. Anything specific to your account, such as one-time website costs, what each plan includes or any exclusivity, is confirmed in writing in your proposal before you agree to it.
Ownership and access
Everything is built in your name: the domain, website, hosting, Google Business Profile, Google and Microsoft ad accounts, Local Services Ads account and call tracking. We're added as managers. That protects you if you ever leave us, and it's the first thing to check with any agency. Our guide to hiring a plumbing marketing agency lists the other questions worth asking.
Proof and honesty
We don't have plumbing case studies to publish yet, so we show results from our HVAC work, named and linked, and explain what carries over. We also won't do the things that create short-term numbers and long-term problems: fake or incentivised reviews, review gating, copy-paste area pages or keyword-stuffed business names.
Timelines and first results
The quickest changes are usually the least glamorous: answering more calls, fixing the Google Business Profile and tracking every call by source. Those can move booked jobs within weeks. Paid search follows close behind. Organic work, such as service-area pages and articles, takes months to build and keeps paying back for years. We show you both tracks in the same monthly report, so a slow month for SEO isn't confused with a failing ad campaign, and a good month for ads doesn't hide a profile that has gone stale.
Working with your office and other vendors
Most plumbing companies already have a dispatch or field-service tool, a phone system and perhaps a web designer or a relative who built the site. We work alongside what you have. We ask for a contact in the office who can tag calls and share booked-job counts, and we coordinate with any existing vendor rather than replacing them by default. If a tool is costing you calls or data, we'll explain why and leave the decision with you.
Questions we ask you
A good first conversation runs both ways. We'll usually ask how many calls you got last month and how many you booked, which jobs make you the most money, how far you're willing to drive, who answers the phone after 5 p.m., and what happened with any agency you used before. Rough answers are fine. They tell us where the quickest wins are, and whether we're the right fit at all.
Still have a question?
Call, text or email. Texting (604) 632-4959 is often the quickest; a line with your company name, town and question is plenty. The contact page explains what to include and what happens next.
